Ordering packages, after moving.

Ordering packages after moving is something that we all do once we move, and get settled into our new location, however some people choose to order items while still in the process of moving to their new location, it doesn’t matter if its in the same neighborhood, across the street, or 5000 miles away cross country for a new job promotion. One of the most important things to remember after you complete your move is putting in a change of address through the Postal Service, because if you choose to move without completing the change of address form then your packages including your mail will be returned to the sender, after the Postal Service holds onto your mail for 10 days. If you have a merchant that you shop from regularly, such as Amazon, Ebay, Zappos, or any other online retailer, it’s important that you log onto the website to update your address information, because if you don’t your items will be shipped to your previous address, it doesn’t matter if you moved over 3 years ago, if that’s the last stored address in your account that’s where the items will be shipped to, and unfortunately your Amazon driver will not know that you moved to another state 3 years ago like your Mailman more than likely will know. If you order items for a friend for Christmas, or their birthday, and you want it to be a surprise, and you use your credit card, and enter their address for the shipping address, you must remember to go back, and update your address when you order items again, because if you don’t change the address then your friend will be receiving a box from Ralph Lauren that you ordered for yourself, but you forgot to update your address to match your credit card information. Ordering packages, after moving doesn’t have to be difficult, stay on top of, and manage your account accordingly.
